Crossroads Bible Institute
Crossroad Bible Institute is an international discipleship ministry for prisoners. It equips the church to disciple people in prison with the Word of God, free of charge, wherever they are incarcerated. An inmate who is enrolled in one of the Bible courses sends to CBI a lesson he has completed. CBI then sends it to you to correct the lesson. You do so with an Instructor book that has the answers. You then mail the lesson along with a letter of encouragement directly to the location where the inmate is incarcerated.
The program impacts the lives of both prisoners and instructors. Inmate’s faith grows as they see Christ in you taking the time to care. Here is an opportunity to be a witness for Jesus. Heb 13:3

Knit & Crochet
The knit and crochet club was formed by a group of ladies whose mission is to make items such as baby sweaters and shawls, adult and children’s mittens, sox, scarves and lap robes. These items are then donated to various nursing homes in the area and to ministries such as Bethany Christian Center and church and social agencies who work with the needy. The group meets on alternating Tuesday mornings at 9:30 A.M. in one of the member’s homes. The ladies enjoy coffee and treats and interesting conversation as they go about their knitting and crocheting. An offering is taken and the members decide which Christian charity they will donate it to. New members are welcomed with open arms as there is always great need to supply the needy with the useful items which they make.

Keenagers
The KeenAgers is a group of single and married people who are 55 years of age and above who meet once a month at 12:00 noon for fellowship and a potluck meal. We meet in the church fellowship hall, usually the second Thursday of the month. We begin with prayer and serious and light hearted conversation abounds during the meal as attendees often share some items of interest, a poem or some serious or funny stories. At the end of the meal, a Bible passage or inspirational writing is read and the singing of several hymns takes place. It is a good time for Christian fellowship. We are always looking for new people to join us.

Meals on Wheels
Our church is responsible to deliver meals one week every 2 months. Meals are picked up at the Methodist Church. Teams of two work best, so one can drive and the other can bring the meals in. Delivery is from 11:00am- 12:30pm. We deliver in the Delavan area. We would love to have a few more volunteers on the team.

Movie Night
A move night will be held the second Saturday of each month beginning in November. Come for snacks and a movie – free entertainment for the whole family. Or better yet…invite neighbors, friends and families to join you! Snacks will be served in the fellowship hall from 6:15-7:00 pm. At 7:00, the movie will begin in the sanctuary.
We are in need of volunteers who are willing to provide snacks, help serve and clean up.

Sunday Evening Prayer Group
Gather for prayer on Sundays at 6:00pm in the Pastor’s Study.  Join us as we pray for the needs of our church!  You will be blessed as we end our Sabbath together each week.  Come to praise and thank God, to silently confess, and to intercede for the needs of DCRC before a mighty God.  A prayer sheet is provided and prayer is led.  Your prayers, silent or spoken, are added to the fragrant offering to Christ.Laurie Gaspar 262-745-5029, Email  gaspar5 @msn.com
